World heritage sites in India

Universe of historical and traditional places, objects – which possesses the unique beauty and wonder of nature and the historical places, monuments, architecture, art, etc.

There are a total of 936 heritage sites were selected by UNESCO. Overall, in terms of both natural and cultural heritage sites in India, the number of total 38. Compared to the number of heritage sites, India Heritage Site of the Earth more than seven preliminary.

Until now there are 42 world heritage sites listed (by UNESCO) in India.
